- yes, I am aware of the distinction between liberties and rights
- yes, I was once illegally searched by a law enforcement officer, in clear violation of my civil rights. I have also been attacked by a law enforcement officer while I was peacefully protesting

- I believe in equality, and on this basis, I believe in equal access to quality public education and healthcare
- I would like to see the Constitution amended to provide a stronger check against the ways the federal court system has become increasingly politicized

~ Rights are more like the freedoms you have. Free of speech or the right to bear arms.
~ LIberties are like you can’t be denied something because of your race and disability.

Not really

As a woman, I should be able to decide what I do with my body, not the government.
Is the person or agent running for office kind and caring.
4. What are three fundamental political beliefs you’d like to share with me?
equality, how crime is handled, the economy, and how funds are used.
5. Do you think the Constitution gives us enough protection for our rights and liberties or should we amend it?
Yes, I do.
This assignment was really interesting. I think I learned a little from talking to the people I chose.
